Benefit There Real Mascara

Benefit They're Real Mascara

I have been wanting this mascara for ages as its meant to be the best selling mascara in the world! So I thought its payday why not treat myself.
I had tried this mascara on previously but I was already wearing mascara at the time and wondered if it was just having a few coats of mascara that made my lashes look longer and fuller.
It has a specially designed brush which claims to give you maximum volume, length and lift. Well it definitely did I put a few coats on and I felt like I was wearing fake eyelashes. The formula is very thick so I think I wont apply as much next time especially if I'm wearing it in the day. It did not smudge or go dry and flaky by the end of the day which is very good.

So here's my before and after pictures

Here is my lashes before Mascara
 And after
 The Brush

Have you tried this mascara or which is your favourite?

Hunter Wellies

Seen as we have had so much rain and kept getting wet and muddy whilst walking the dog I decided to invest in some Hunter Wellies.
I wanted the long ones but seen as I am a bit on the short side the adults ones came up too long on my legs and were uncomfortable to walk in. So seen as I have little feet as well as little legs I tried the kids ones and they are a much better fit for me.
The main difference is that the kids ones have silver reflectors on the back and the price its nearly half the price! apart from that they are the same. At least you can see me in the dark!
I picked mine up for £26.50 on http://www.garden4less.co.uk/ normally retail price for Kids sizes is £32

No7 Magnifying Mirror

No7 Magnifying Mirror

I'd like to share how amazing this mirror is! My auntie had bought one previously and had said it was really good. Whist in Boots my mum and I took a look at it and couldn't believe how much closer you can see your skin. We ended up buying one each and have both been addicted to it ever since.
It magnifies by 12 times this is especially good when plucking your eyebrows or applying mascara.
It costs £9 in Boots which I think is a bit expesive for a mirror but if you get a £5 off no7 voucher you can use it on this or sometimes they have a 3 for 2 offer on.

Gellux Nails

Before my holiday my friend did my nails for me using Gellux which gives you up to 15 days shiney and scratch free nails and is also supposed to keep your nails strong. I choose the French Manicured look for my nails and I was really please with the result below.

Back from a sunny holiday and 12 days later they are still looking good. Yes they have grown out a bit but my nails do grown quite quickly and I have been in the sun and all the different sun creams and oils probably havent helped but none of my nails have broken and they are still nice and strong. I would definately recommend trying this gel polish for anyone who hates having chipped nails and has problems with weak nails breaking.

There are lots of other types of gel polish as well as Gellux like shellac and OPI

Freeze 24-7 Creams

Having received my email to say I was selected for the Debenhams VIP panel whilst I was on holiday I was eager to try it out as soon as I got home, via a trip to the post office to collect the parcel of course.  First impressions was the cute packaging and I was drawn to the words ‘Freeze 24-7’ and ‘ice cream’ yum name a girl who doesn’t love ice cream.
Out came the camera to take the before pictures scary when you start analyzing your wrinkles with no foundation on.
First I tried the Freeze 24-7 Instant Targeted Wrinkle Treatment which I put on round my eyes, between my eye brows and on my forehead forgetting that it said to pat it, I rubbed it and the product did not spread well as its very thick so I started patting and it worked much better on my skin it pays to read the instructions! My skin instantly felt slightly tighter. 10 minutes later I took my next picture. I wasn’t expecting to be wrinkle free but it had made a few lines disappear around my eyes.

I then applied the Freeze 24-7 Ice Cream Double Scoop Intensive Anti-Aging Moisturiser this went on really well it felt nice and was not greasy on my skin. My face felt toned all over so I then took my final picture.

One thing I am really fussy about when it comes to creams is the smells if it does not smell nice I will not buy it but the Freeze 24-7 Products are very neutral smelling which is nice.
I cannot wait to carry on using these products to see how the long term effects are. Thank you Debenhams Beauty Club for selecting me. I am always entering the competitions and never win but I felt like a winner with these full size products.
If you would like to buy these products available from debenhams they retail at £40 for 10ml for the Freeze 24-7 Instant Targeted Wrinkle Treatment and £65 for 50ml Freeze 24-7 Ice Cream Double Scoop Intensive Anti-Aging Moisturiser.

Avon Nailwear Pro Sequined Turquoise

This is my latest purchase Avon Nailwear Pro in Sequined Turquoise. I wouldn't normally wear a colour like this im always a pink girl when it comes to nail polish but I actually really like it.
I was worried it wouldnt be like the colour I saw in the brochure but I was not dissapointed when it arrived.

I applied 3 coats to get the look below and it does last quite well. I always chip my polish but with this one its easy to touch up and does not even show you've done it. Bonus!

Available from Avon for £6 but they always have offers on so you are unlikely to have to pay full price click here to buy http://www.avon.uk.com/PRSuite/home_page.page or friends contact me

Pantene Pro V

A few months ago I was part of the Supersavvyme.com Tried and tested panel. It involved the testing of the New Pantene Pro V Collection for Coloured hair.
I really enjoyed this and gave me a chance to give my honest opinion on the product with samples and vouchers for friends and family. It does make you hair really soft and smooth everyone thought my hair looked really shiney when I was using it. I dont know if I would really rate it for coloured hair but liked the product enough to now try the Repair & Protect Range.

I found a little bargain at £5 for all in the Pantene Pro V Repair & Protect Collection at Asda. In the pack you get 250ml Shampoo, 200ml Conditioner and 2min Deep Repair Masque 200ml.

This is for Normal - Thick Hair but says will prevent split ends and restore hair's strength so I am going to give it a go as my split ends are terrible! Even with regular hair cuts.
Pantene is on offer everywhere at the moment so give it a try if you want soft and smooth hair even if its just for the treatment mask.

I will update you shortly on how I get on.  Let me know if any of you have tried it

Tenerife Holiday October 2011

Stayed at a lovely hotel the Bahia Pricipe in Costa Adeje Tenerife. This hotel has 2 parts to it we were in the lower side of the hotel which is 4 star it has a lovely atmosphere but if you're not very fit you will find the the walking around the hotel a bit diffcult due to the hillside location. Nice hot weather in October not too hot but not cold maybe need a cardigan in evenings.
There is not much to do just out of the hotel resort without getting a taxi or bus so if your after a bit of relaxation this is the place to go. There is a buffet restaurant and 5 a la carte restaurants, gym and evening entertainment as part of the all inclusive package there is also at an extra cost a spa and wifi in reception area. You can use the facilities at the other part of the hotel too.
My boyfriend suffers with coelic (wheat & gluten intolarant) the hotel were very helpful and understanding to this and gave him a card in Spanish so he could show the chef or waiter/waitresses in the restaurants to explain what he cant eat. The chef in the chinese a la cart restaurant was so good he came out the kitchen and showed my boyfriend everything he could eat and what he couldnt.

The main pool
It does have a lot of sunbeds but as usual if you dont get out early enough you wont get one in a good spot. Make sure you if you dont have kids to avoid half term! On our last 2 days it was school holidays and the hotel was packed so avoid then if you can.
The lower pool with bridge over it. There is no actual beach that you can walk on as there is a glass screen around the pool edge area.
Whilst in Tenerife we visited Siam Park and went on a trip to see the Volcano.
